Extremely old and takes a very long time to form, meaning they are non-renewable and once they are consumed they cannot be replaced
Are often called hydrocarbons, because they contain mostly hydrogen and carbons
Fuels include: coal, petroleum, and natural gas

Readily Available
Energy-Rich
Phase Change - Physical
Elements go under reorientation
