12
New cards

What would happen if earth didn’t have a moon?

22
New cards

How do we know earth is rotating?

The coriolis effect and the fact there is a great impact with wind patterns the ocean circulation

23
New cards

Why is earth habitable

The greenhouse gasses and other gasses within our atmosphere and the fact earth has a gravitational field strong enough to hold our atmosphere

24
New cards

How we do we know the suns daily path is changing from month to month

We know the sun is changing from mouth to mouth because the because it’s colder and warmth throughout the year. In beginning of the year the sun is closer to each and our days are shorter but towards the summer the sun has made it far enough away to created our days to be long and for it to be warmer because the sun is farther away. Also because we see the sun rise in the east and set in the west everyday

The fact earth is rotating in its axis

31
New cards

What is nuclear fusion ?

It’s in the process of a star forming it’s when the star is giving out energy before reaching its full potential

32
New cards

Why can’t you see oryan in the summer time

Because we are in summer and that constellation is our winter constellation so it’s technically behind the sun because earth hasn’t orbited that way yet

33
New cards

What are the two main greenhouse gasses

Hydrogen and methane
