A law that divided the south into 5 military districts. these states had to ratify 14th amendment before rejoining union
15th Amendment
allowed all men to vote, not based on race, color, or previous condition of servitude

Northerners that moved south during reconstruction. Southerns viewed then as seeking gain

White southerners who supported reconstruction. Often seen as traders from other southerners.

A term describing the Souths consistent support for the democratic party after reconstruction. lasted well into 20th century.
