Time
Translates to 'час' in Ukrainian; used when asking what time it is in general rather than referring to a specific hour.
Hour
Translates to 'година' in Ukrainian, representing a specific hour.
What time is it?
The English question used to ask for the current time.
AM
The time period from 12:00 midnight to 12:00 noon.
PM
The time period from 12:00 noon to 12:00 midnight.
Past (in time context)
Used when the minute hand is between 12 and 6 to indicate minutes after the hour.
To (in time context)
Used when the minute hand is between 6 and 12 to indicate minutes remaining until the next hour.
O'clock
Term used when stating an exact hour with no extra minutes.
Quarter
A period of 15 minutes (a quarter of an hour), used for 15 minutes past or 15 minutes to an hour.
Half
A period of 30 minutes (half an hour), always used with 'past' in time expressions (e.g., half past).
Color / Colour
The word for color, spelled 'color' in American English and 'colour' in British English.
Red
The color translated as 'червоний'.
Blue
The color translated as 'голубий' or 'синій'.
Green
The color translated as 'зелений'.
Black
The color translated as 'чорний'.
Yellow
The color translated as 'жовтий'.
Pink
The color translated as 'рожевий'.

The phrase used to ask about the color of a specific object.
Snake
The English word for 'змія'.
Fish
The English word for 'риба'.
Shape
Translates to 'фігура' or 'форма' in Ukrainian.

Square
A geometric shape translated as 'квадрат'.
Triangle
A three-cornered shape derived from 'tri' (three) and 'angle'.
Angle
Translates to 'кут' in Ukrainian.
Star
A shape translated as 'зірка'.

The English expression used for a heart symbol representing love, distinguishing it from an actual physical heart.
