Tools

Resources

items that may not be tangible, such as money, other people, transportation, and time

Properties

descriptive terms that explain aspects of the objects used (e.g., olive oil, red paint, unleaded gas, unscented cleaner)

Space demands

aspects of the physical environment needed for an activity, such as size, arrangement, surface, lighting, temperature, noise, humidity, and ventilation

Social demands

the communication rules and expected behaviors of a participant, shaped by culture and social context; determines how one should act and can vary for the same activity in different situations
