Support, protection, movement, mineral storage, and blood-cell production.
Femur
The thigh bone; the largest and longest bone in the human body.
Tibia
The larger, weight-bearing bone of the lower leg.
Fibula
The thinner bone of the lower leg.
Patella
The kneecap.
Humerus
The upper-arm bone.
Radius
The bone on the thumb side of the forearm.
Ulna
The bone on the little-finger side of the forearm.
Carpals
The bones of the wrist.
Metacarpals
The bones of the hand between the wrist and fingers.
Phalanges
The bones of the fingers and toes.
Tarsals
The seven bones of the ankle/foot.
Metatarsals
The five bones of the foot between the tarsals and toes.
Calcaneus
The heel bone.
