Scapula
A large, flat bone in the upper back that connects the humerus to the clavicle.

Clavicle
Also known as the collarbone; it connects the arm to the body.

Ribs
Curved bones that form the rib cage, protecting the thoracic cavity.

Sternum
The breastbone located in the center of the chest.

Coxa
The hipbone, which consists of the ilium, ischium, and pubis.

Ilium
The largest part of the coxal bone, forming the upper portion of the hip.

Ischium
The curved bone forming the base of each half of the pelvis.

Pubis
The front portion of the hip bone.


Humerus
The long bone of the upper arm or forelimb.
Radius
The bone on the thumb side of the forearm.

Ulna
The bone on the pinky side of the forearm.

Femur
The thigh bone, which is the longest bone in the human body.

Tibia
The shinbone; the larger of the two bones in the lower leg.

Fibula
The smaller bone located alongside the tibia in the lower leg.

Calcaneus
The heel bone, the largest tarsal bone.

Metatarsals
The five long bones in the foot between the tarsals and the phalanges.

Carpals
The eight small bones that make up the wrist.

Phalanges
The bones of the fingers and toes.
