Qualifications for President
Must be 35 years old, a natural born citizen, and must have lived in the U.S. for the last 14 years.
22nd Amendment
Limits the President to two terms or no more than 10 years in office.
25th Amendment
If the President cannot complete his term, the Vice President becomes President.
Presidential Succession Act
The order of succession to the presidency: Vice President, Speaker of the House, President pro tempore, Cabinet secretaries in order of department origin.
