Cocci (Bacteria)
Any bacteria that is rounded, or circular. Can be found almost anywhere, and many good types are found in humans. It may cause skin irritations, and sometimes serious diseases.

Coccidia (Genus Isospora or Eimeria)
Microscopic intestinal parasites of dogs and cats
Typically characterized by a round oval shape, with one to multiple sporocysts in their center
Rapid multiplication of the parasite in the intestinal wall causes the cells of the intestinal lining to rupture
They cause disease most commonly in puppies and kittens less than six months old, or in adult animals with a weakened immune system

Demodectic Mite (Genus Demodex)
Mites that cause severe or patchy hair loss and severe dermatitis in dogs, less commonly in cats

Ear Mite (Family Psoroptidae; Genus Otodectes
A surface mite that is typically found in the ear canal of some mammals
Microscopic in size
Highly contagious from animal to animal
Lives on cats and dogs (as well as has been found on foxes, ferrets, rabbits)

Eosinophils
a white blood cell containing granules that are readily stained by eosin.

Epithelial cells (Urine)
small traces are normal, Increased amounts indicate renal disease

Flea Larva (Genus Ctenocephalides)
avoids light and extreme temps; feed on organic debris; feces "flea dirt"; 3 stages of moults

passed anally within mobile segments from an infected dog. Once outside the body, these segments dry out and release their egg cargo.
