3 Na+ enter the protein pump from inside the cell. Next, ATP is dephosphorylated and becomes ADP. The protein pump is phosphorylated which causes another conformational Change. The 3 Na+ go out of the cell from low to high. 2 K+ enters the protein pump from outside the cell and the protein pump is dephosphorylated which causes another conformational change. The 2K+ come into the cell from low to high
