Evangelism
The greatest profession on earth, presenting Christ is the power of the Holy Spirit that man may come to put their trust in God through faith in the Lord Jesus accepting Him as personal Savior and Lord and serving Him as their King in the fellowship of his Church.
At the Crossroad
A book that shows the importance of being a soulwinner and the consequences of not doing duty in Christ's Commission.
3 Fold Function of Evangelism
The process consisting of winning the soul for Christ, baptizing and bringing them to church, and teaching and discipling them.
Personal Evangelism
One of the three kinds of evangelism, alongside Pastoral and Professional Evangelism.
The Instrument of the Gospel (The Seed)
The message of Christ's death, burial, and resurrection, representing the light of redemption and the knowledge of His substitutionary death for us.
The Instrument of the Holy Spirit (The Worker)
He who convicts the sinner of their lost condition and draws or woos them to Christ.
The Human Instrument (The Carrier)
Believers acting as vessels and ambassadors of Christ who carry the Gospel.
Egg stage
The first stage of becoming a soul winner characterized by "Being an example."
Caterpillar stage
The second stage of becoming a soul winner involving "Giving out tracts."
Cocoon stage
The third stage of becoming a soul winner involving "witnessing" about Sin based on Romans 3:23 and James 4:17.
Butterfly Stage
The fourth stage of becoming a soul winner involving "Soul Winning Or Persuading."
Helping Souls To Christ
Assisting the mission by giving out Gospel tracts, books, or supporting missionaries and media programs.
Bringing Souls To Christ
Getting the lost into a spiritual atmosphere, such as church or revival meetings.
Winning Souls To Christ
The act of persuading those who are not interested and travailing in intercessory prayer for those who are hardened.
H-E-L-P
An acronym for making the transition from natural to spiritual conversation: Household, Employment, Loved ones, Plan of salvation.
Drawing the Net
A term derived from fishing meaning "landing the fish," or successfully getting the prospect across the line to salvation.
G-R-O-W
An acronym used to direct converts: Go to church, Read your Bible, Obey the Lord, Witness.
Silent Partner
A soul winning companion who prays silently, helps with practical needs like baby-sitting, and remains silent when the spiritual conversation begins.
Fisherman's Club
A visitation program where follow-up methods and soul winning are discussed and practiced.
