What are fat soluble vitamins?
A, D, E, K
They are readily stored in the body’s adipose tissue
What are water-soluble vitamins?
All the “B-vitamins” and vitamin C
are NOT STORED IN large amounts and must be consumed DAILY or weekly basis. Deficiency in diseases or syndromes can arise fairly quickly.
What are minerals?
naturally occurring inorganic (Non-carbon-containing) surfaces.
ALL minerals are ELEMENTS, they already exist in the simplest chemical from possible, are NOT digested or broked down prior to absorptions (readily used)
How much of the major mineral do you need?
AT LEAST 100 mg per day
