ending extreme poverty(people living on less than PPP$3.00 a day), reducing the proportion of men women and children living in poverty by half, putting in place social protection systems

how does SDG1 link to reducing under 5 mortality rate(SDG3)?

being born in a medical clinic reduces the risk of infection such as tetanus which can lead to death in newborns, being able to afford clean water and nutritious food will improve immune systems and reduce the incidence of diarrhoea and death from dehydration, being able to access health care ensures children are vaccinated against infectious diseases such as measles

how does SDG1 link to reduced maternal mortality (SDG3)

women will be able to afford prenatal care and to give birth in a medical clinic, women will be able to afford nutritious food and clean water to enjoy a healthy pregnancy

how does SDG1 link to epidemics of aids, TB, malaria and neglected tropical diseases (SDG3)

being able to afford clean water and sanitation reduces exposure to malaria some neglected tropical diseases, being able to afford health care enables the early diagnosis of conditions and the appropriate medication and treatment such as ART to reduce the incidence of AIDS.
