What is pH?
pH is a measure of acidity and alkalinity. It is a logarithmic scale, measuring the concentration of H+ ions in an aqueous solution
What are the equations for pH?
pH = - log[H+]
[H+] = 10-pH
How many decimal places should you give pH to?
Give pH to 2 decimal places
How do you work out [H+]?
To work out the concentration of H+ find the concentration of the acid. If it's diprotic multiply that concentration by two.
