Conditioning
The process of learning associations between environmental events and behavioral responses.
Conditioned response (CR)
A learned reaction to a stimulus that was previously neutral.
Neutral stimulus (NS)
A stimulus that initially produces no response until it’s paired with an unconditioned stimulus.
Unconditioned stimulus (US)
