Olfactory Epithelium
A specialized tissue within the nasal cavity that contains olfactory receptor neurons responsible for detecting odors and transmitting signals to the brain for the sense of smell.
Odorants
inhaled molecuules that interact with receptor protiens on the dendrites
olfactory bulb
located at the base of the brain, it processes signals from olfactory receptor neurons and relays them to other brain areas for smell perception.
glomerulus
recieves info from one specific class of odorant receptors
