Synapse
The space between the terminal button of one neuron and the dendrite of another neuron.
Corpus Callosum
A large bundle of nerve fibers that connects the left and right hemispheres of the brain, allowing for communication and coordination.
Lateralization
The concept that each hemisphere of the brain is associated with specialized functions.
Gyri
Ridges covering the surface of the brain.

Grooves covering the surface of the brain.
