Inertia
The tendency of an object to resists change in it's state of motion.
Inertia of rest
The type of inertia where an object doesn't move and stays at rest.
Inertia of motion
The tendency of a moving object to continue in its state of motion.
Inertia of direction
The tendency of an object to maintain its current path.
Acceleration
The rate of change of an object.
Acceleration Formula
A=mF
Force Formula
F=MA
Mass Formula
m=AF
Positive acceleration
A state where an object speeds up.
Negative acceleration
The opposite of positive acceleration.
Zero acceleration
A state where the velocity remains constant.
Non-uniform acceleration
Acceleration that changes over time.
Uniform acceleration
A state where velocity changes by equal amounts.
