Adrenal cortex (blue, white, red)

Blue: Zona glomerulosa (columnar, pyramidal cells), White: zone fasciculata (long cords of large spongy cells, lipid droplets), red (packed cells close to medulla, stained better because close to the medulla and have less lipid droplets)

tertiary follicle ovary (has multiple cell layer granulosa, theca interna layer (round cells), and theca external more spindle cells

mature follicle, oocyte at one pole, still layers but now large antrum too

corpus albicans (progressive fibrosis and shrinkage if not fertilized)
