Habitat
The natural surroundings or home of an organism.
Species
A group of organisms that have common characteristics and can reproduce to breed offspring.
Population
A group of organisms of the same species that live in the same habitat.
Community
A few populations of different organisms that live together in one habitat and have mutual interaction with one another.
Ecosystem
A few communities that live together in one habitat and interact with one another, including all non-living components such as water, air, and soil.
Monocotyledon
A seed which has one cotyledon.
Dicotyledon
A seed with a pair of cotyledons.
Amphibians
Animals that are poikilothermic, live on land and in water, have moist skin, and undergo external fertilization.
Reptiles
Animals that are poikilothermic, produce eggs with a shell, breathe through lungs, and undergo internal fertilization.
Biodiversity
The variety of organisms, including microorganisms, animals, and plants, present in a particular habitat.
Genetic Diversity
The diversity within a species, based on variations in the genes of each microorganism, animal, or plant.
