Granulopoiesis
called to Process of granulocyte (neutrophil, eosinophil, basophil) development and maturation.
Changes from blue (basophilic) to pink (acidophilic) as cell matures.
Cytoplasmic change during granulopoiesis
Becomes coarser and more clumped as the cell matures.
Nuclear chromatin change during granulopoiesis
Granules appear progressively as cell matures (primary - secondary - tertiary)
Granules appearance during granulopoiesis
Cell size decreases as maturation progresses

Myeloblast, Promyelocyte, Myelocyte.
Mitotically active stages
Occurs in the bone marrow.
