Big Bang Theory
A scientific theory proposing that the universe originated from a singularity about 13.8 billion years ago.
Singularity
A point of infinite density and temperature where the laws of physics break down, believed to be the starting point of the universe according to the Big Bang Theory.
Black Hole
A region in space where gravity is so strong that nothing, not even light, can escape from it.
Gravitational Pressure
The force exerted by gravity that compresses matter in a black hole's singularity.
Expansion of the Universe
The continuous process of the universe growing larger and less dense since the Big Bang, as described by the Big Bang Theory.
