Snap
To execute a rapid, whipping front kick.
Drive
To push forcefully with a yeop chagi (side kick).
Smite
To hit the chest protector hard and decisively.
Nail
To execute a perfect dwit chagi (back kick) counter.
Hammer
To bring down a naeryeo chagi (axe kick) onto the head.
Clip
To make light but scoring contact with the helmet.
Grapple
To illegally hold or grab the opponent, often leading to a warning.
Draw
To cause an opponent to commit an infraction resulting in a penalty.
Penalize
To receive a point deduction or have a penalty point given to a rival.
Outpace
To move faster and maintain higher stamina throughout the match.
Dominating
Controlling every aspect of the bout.
Out-strike
To land more valid scoring hits than the competitor.
Overpower
To break down resistance through physical force.
Pinpoint
To target exact scoring locations on the hogu electronic sensors.
Trigger
To register impact force on electronic equipment (PSS sensors).
Out-kick
To display superior kicking speed and volume.
Stagger
To throw an opponent off balance with a heavy kick.
Rebound
To recover and take the lead after trailing an early deficit.
Seal
To secure a win by reaching the maximum point difference (point-gap victory).
Secure
To guarantee advancement to the next phase, such as a berth in the finals.
Sweep
To win all rounds under the best-of-three format.
