A problem is a micro point of view -> normally one-sided and one person or a small group of people

Ex. You dropped your glasses, thats a problem that affects you because now you can’t see

A issue is a micro point-of-view -> related to a disagreement/decisions made

Ex.  A family wants to eat out, but they all can’t come to an agreement of a restaurant, this is an issue.

Explain the Gia Hypothesis. What is your opinion?

The Gia hypothesis proposes that all organisms on Earth are integrated to form a single self-regulating system that maintains the life on planet earth. In my opinion, I believe humans are called to also take part in maintaining and taking care of life on Earth. I don’t think the world can keep itself in a perfect state, and it’s clear that it can’t since were are experiencing many issues such as climate change and deforestation.

What is the difference between a stock resource and a flow resource, with an example of each.

  • A stock resource is not infinite, once we use up those resources we cant get them back Ex. Tree’s -> becomes paper, furniture ect. 

  • A flow resource is a resource that is constantly used and replaces, such as water or sunlight.
