The deceptive statement told by the snake: "you will surely not die".

The consequence of Adam and Eve's sin, resulting in them being kicked out of the garden with a sword placed to guard it.

A protective mark placed by God on Cain so that no one would get revenge on him for killing Abel.

Methuselah
The oldest man who ever lived, reaching the age of 969 years old.

God's decision to destroy the world because there was a lot of sin in the world and he did not want it full of sin.
Sparing of Noah
God's decision to save Noah because he was blameless, righteous, and walked with God.
Duration of the Flood
The period of time the flooding lasted, determined by Noah entering the boat at age 600 and leaving at age 601, lasting one year.
Prohibited Food Post-Flood
The specific restriction given to Noah and his sons forbidding them from eating flesh with its blood.
Shem
The son of Noah from whom the Semites/Hebrews descended.
Dispersion of Languages
The explanation in chapter 10 for how knowledge about God was lost as nations spread across the earth and formed their own languages.
Tower of Babel
An event where people with one language joined together to build a tower to Heaven, leading God to scatter them and mix up their languages.
