Return to Playback mode and confirm it no longer appears on the timeline.

What is an Investigation in XProtect Web Client?

A workspace used to review, organize, and export video evidence from one or more cameras.

What determines whether you can use Investigations?

Your user account permissions.

What happens when you switch from Live mode to Investigation mode?

The same group of cameras is automatically loaded into the investigation.

How do you add cameras to an investigation?

Drag and drop the camera or click the + (plus) icon.

What do the colors on the investigation timeline mean?

• No color = No recordings

How do you select the part of the recording you want?

Drag the yellow brackets to set the start and end times.

How do you save an investigation?
