Cognitive Perspective
Focuses on how people think and process information, including how they take in, process, store, and retrieve information.
Biological Perspective
Focuses on the physical and biological causes of behavior, such as the brain, body, biological processes, and chemicals.
Sociocultural Perspective
Focuses on how society and culture, including religion, race, social groups, and other people, affect behavior and thinking.
Behavioral Perspective
Focuses on how we learn behaviors through our environment, specifically through observation, rewards, consequences, and responses.
Humanistic Perspective
Focuses on how healthy people grow and reach their full potential by working toward personal goals.
Psychodinamic Perspective
Focuses on how unconscious thoughts, desires, and conflicts affect behavior.
Evolutionary Perspective
Focuses on how behavior and mental processes help humans survive and reproduce through genetics, adaptations, and behavior.
