Describe the experiment on how rate changed with temperature.
measure 10cm of 0.2 HCL and 10cm of sodium this surface in separate measuring cylinders and boiling tubes
Ensure both solutions are at the same temp
Place conical flask on top of a black cross. Add sodium thiosulfate then HCL
Start the stopwatch and swirl solution to mix
Stop the clock when the cross disappears and repeat with different temperatures
Draw a graph of temperature against time
1/T is a measure of rate
What is K (from the Arrhenius equation) proportional too?
