  • Physical preparation —> how long, who with, inclusions, how long before comp? (to ensure cool down doesn’t occur once an athlete has already warmed up)

  • Mental preparation —> arousal, visualisation, mental rehearsal, relaxation etc

  • Team meetings/individual discussion with the coach —> last minute instructions & emphasis on goals

  • Who to spend time with —> support staff or isolating
