Articular cartilage (at joints), costal cartilage (connecting ribs to sternum), larynx, trachea, bronchial tree, embryonic skeleton.

Stratified Squamous Epithelium

Epidermis of skin, lining of mouth, most of pharynx (throat), esophagus, and vagina.

Elastic Cartilage

External ear, epiglottis, auditory tubes.

Fibrocartilage

Intervertebral discs, symphysis pubis, articular discs in knee and jaw.

Simple Cuboidal Epithelium

Kidney tubules, small ducts in some glands.

Simple Columnar Epithelium

Lining of GI tract (stomach and intestine), lining of gall bladder.

Ciliated Pseudostratified Columnar Epithelium

Lining of upper respiratory tract and trachea.

Loose Connective Tissue

Outer layers of blood vessels, deep layers of mucous membranes, subcutaneous layers.

Simple Squamous Epithelium

Serous membranes, lining of heart and blood vessels, lung alveoli, kidney glomerular capsules.

Adipose Cartilage

Subcutaneous layers, yellow marrow, pads around joints and some organs.

Dense Regular Collagenous Cartilage (White Fibrous)

Tendons, ligaments, aponeuroses (throat tendons).
