Axillary
is a nerve in the shoulder that helps control the deltoid muscles and the skin around the shoulder
Radial
is a nerve in the arm that controls the movement of the triceps muscle, the muscle at the back of the arm, and provides feeling in the back of the arm and hand.
musculocutaneous
is a nerve in the arm that provides feeling in the skin of the forearm and power to some muscles of the upper arm.
ulnar
is a nerve that runs down the arm and provides feeling to the half of the ring finger and the little finger. It also controls most of the hand muscles that help with fine movements.
median
is a key nerve in the human body that runs down the arm and hand. It controls the muscles of the forearm and hand, and provides feeling in the hand.
femoral
is a major nerve in the leg that helps muscles move and provides sensation. It controls the muscles that allow us to straighten the leg, and also provides feeling in the front part of the thigh and a part of the lower leg.
lateral femoral cutaneous
is a nerve in the leg that provides feeling to the outer thigh.
obturator
is a nerve in the leg that controls the muscles responsible for movement and sensation in the thigh and lower leg.
anterior femoral cutaneous
is a nerve located in the leg that provides sensation to the skin on the front part of the thigh.
saphenous
is a nerve in the leg that provides feeling to the skin on the inside part of the leg and foot.
sciatic
is a large nerve in the body that starts at the lower back and runs down both legs. It controls the muscles of the lower leg and provides sensation to the thighs, legs, and soles of the feet.
posterior femoral cutaneous
is a nerve in the leg that provides sensation to the skin on the back of the thigh and part of the lower leg.
common fibular
is a nerve located in the leg that controls muscles and sensation in the lower leg and foot.
tibial
is a nerve in the leg that controls muscles and sensations in the lower leg and foot.
deep fibular
is a nerve in the leg that controls muscles and sensations in the front part of the lower leg and foot.
superficial fibular
is a nerve in the lower leg that provides sensation over the lateral aspect of the leg and the dorsum (top) of the foot.
inferior gluteal
is a nerve in the human body that emerges from the sacral plexus and supplies the gluteus maximus muscle, the largest muscle in the buttock.
superior gluteal
is a nerve in the human body that arises from the sacral plexus and innervates the gluteus minimus and gluteus medius muscles, as well as the tensor fasciae latae muscle, all of which are located in the hip region
