Explain the purpose and operation of Viewpark Yard and Birdsfield Yard.
Explain how trains are regulated at Haughhead Junction and Uddingston Junction during disruption.
Describe the workings at Larkhall Station and Allanton Loop.
Allanton loop signals blank on panel. Only show aspect when points are set for the loop.
Lockout device
Form of additional protection
Explain any special signalling arrangements or local instructions for the Newton workstation.
Points 41 reversed normal points
GMN148 signal only shows proceed when route been set ( due to being close to GMN146 signal on the ground as risk of confusion)
How many flashers on Newton workstation?
3 sets but we only control 2. One on way to Cathcart.
6D62
Train for shunting in Viewpark sidings… usually 3 times a week.
Warner route ( shown by yellow triangle) beside GMN146 on Newton panel.
Warner route (or signal) in railway signaling warns a driver that they are approaching a stop signal ahead, which may be at danger. It is a permissive signal, allowing a train to pass it at caution (yellow) even when the route is not fully clear, often used where there is a reduced overlap.
It tells the driver the line is clear only to the next signal, allowing a train to safely enter an occupied section or approach a stop signal.
Full overlap not available. Perhaps used to get train off junction at the crossover.
Describe how the lockout facility is used on the workstation.

Larkhall platform 1 and platform 2 can be used for attaching passenger services or platform sharing.
