Rebuttal: Kant highlights how morality stems from duty and adherence to rational values, and a relationship (especially during early twenties) are typically more serious than a simple high school relationship. relationships should be built on trust, and having an unsteady relationship with this lie is not healthy for any of them. emphasizing prioritizing others over yourself/exploiting your community. reiterating the value of service in one’s community. despite the initial motives behind a passion project, they still bring good to our community. it is irrational to believe that every non-profit organization is created purely out of the goodness of one’s heart. as long as the project is bringing good to the community, there is nothing necessarily wrong with it.
