GCSE Italian speaking: My family and friends

Nella mia famiglia ci sono quattro persone.

In my family there are four people.

Ho un fratello, una madre, un padre ed io.

I have a brother, a mum, a dad and myself.

Mio fratello si chiama Hughie.

My brother is called Hughie.

Ha dodici anni.

He is 12 years old.

Ha i capelli biondi, corti e lisci.

He has blond, short, straight hair.

Vado d’accordo con lui perché mi fa ridere.

I get on with him because he makes me laugh.

Vado d’accordo con mio fratello perché mi fa ridere ma è rumoroso!

I get on with my brother because he makes me laugh but he noisy.

Vado d’accordo con i miei genitori perché siamo molto simili.

I get on with my parents because we are very similar.

Però litigo spesso con mio padre siccome siamo entrambi testardi.

However I argue often with my dad because we are both stubborn.

Vado d’accordo con le mie amiche perché amiamo parlare e abbiamo le stesse interesse.

I get on with my friends because we love talking and we have the same interests.

Vado d’accordo con alcuni insegnanti perché sono simpatici.

I get on with some teachers because they are nice.

The ideal friend should be fun, kind and caring.

 secondo me la ragione comune dei conflitti nella mia famiglia è che siamo tutti testardi!

In my opinion the common reason for arguments in my family is that we are all stubborn.

Siamo andati a Londra, siamo andati al teatro,e abbiamo guardato back to the future.

We went to London, we went to the theatre and we watched Back to the Future.

È stato divertente.

It was fun.

Il mio partner ideale avrebbe i capelli castani e gli occhi azzurri.

My ideal partner would have brown hair and blue eyes.

Al mio partner ideale piacerebbe lo sport così potremmo giocare insieme.

My ideal partner would like sport so we could play together.

Mi piacerebbe sposarmi ma vorrei avere figli prima.

I would like to get married but I would like to have children before.

Non vedo l’ora di portare l’abito da sposa.

I can’t wait to wear a wedding dress.
