Ideology
A coherent set of ideas that direct or organize a specific political action (heywood 2013)
Ideology
Conceived in 1796 by French Philosopher Destutt de Tracy to refer to a new science that endeavored to uncover origins of conscious thought and ideas.
Liberalism
It is a political ideology that gives importance to the fulfillment of the individual through the satisfaction of his interest
Conservatism
Defined by the desire to preserve institutions and is reflected in a resistance to, or at least suspicion of change.
Socialism
An ideology that stands in opposition to capitalism and proposes and alternative which is more humane and equitable
Marxism
Social, economic and political philosophy that analyses the impact of the ruling class on the laborers, leading to uneven distribution of wealth and privileges in the society. Stimulates the workers to protest the injustice
Social Democracy
Stand for a balance between the market and the state, and between the individual and the community
Facism
And ultranationalist ideology. It subscribes to the idea of a supreme race, whose members should enjoy the natural resources
Anarchy
The state, or any political authority, is seen as both evil and unnecessary
Feminism
Diverse but its unifying theme is the desire to enhance the social role of women
Green politics
This ideology is linked with the emergence of environmental movement. It also rose as a revolt against industrialization.
