steps to spin

Off-centre, eccentric force is applied causing spin. Bernoulli’s principle explains the effects of spin on the flight path. Boundary layer creates a high/low pressure & velocity zone (top of ball). Side with boundary layer travelling with oncoming air creates a high/ low pressure zone (bottom of ball). Pressure differential causes ball to move from high pressure to low. Movement from high to low pressure creates a lift force–Magnus effect
