away from the midline pertaining to a side

Pertaining to the outer wall of the body cavity

Prone

Lying on the abdomen, face down

Turning inward, toward the midline of the body

Eversion

Turning outward, away from the midline

pertaining to the palm of the hand

pertaining to the sole of the foot
