The part of the road used for the movement of road traffic vehicles.

A longitudinal strip of the roadway with sufficient width for safe vehicle travel.

Alcohol and Drug Prohibition
It is strictly forbidden for anyone to drive a vehicle on the road while having drugs in their body or any concentration of alcohol in their blood or breath.
Yellow Traffic Light
Drivers must stop before the stop line; if already past the line, they may continue. Flashing yellow allows movement but requires caution and yielding to pedestrians.
Horn usage hours
In residential or hospital areas, horns are permitted only from 05:00 to 22:00, excluding priority vehicles.
Safe Following Distance (80−100km/h)
When driving between 80km/h and 100km/h on dry roads, the minimum safe distance to the vehicle ahead is 70m.
Safe Following Distance (100−120km/h)
When driving between 100km/h and 120km/h on dry roads, the minimum safe distance to the vehicle ahead is 100m.
Licensing Age (Category B)
The minimum age is 18years old for driving passenger cars up to 8 seats and trucks up to 3,500kg.
Licensing Age (Category D)
The minimum age is 24years old for driving passenger cars with 16 to 29 seats.
Maximum age for Category D drivers
For vehicles with over 29 seats, the limit is 55years old for men and 50years old for women.
License Points System
A driving license has 12points. Points are recovered to 12 if the driver is not penalized for 12months from the last reduction.
Speed Limit (Mopeds and Specialized Vehicles)
The maximum speed allowed on roads (excluding expressways) is 40km/h.
Speed Limit (Residential Area, Double-way road)
The maximum speed for cars and motorcycles on roads with a median divider in residential areas is 60km/h.
Truck Lifespan
The maximum period of use for transport trucks is 25years from the year of manufacture.
Passenger bus Lifespan
The maximum period of use for passenger vehicles with more than 8 seats is 20years from the year of manufacture.
