SI-1 (Jing-Well, Metal)

Located at the corner of the nail of the fifth finger, ulnar side; clears heat, benefits sensory orifices, revives consciousness, promotes lactation and benefits breasts.

SI-2 (Ying-Spring, Water)

Located distal to the 5th mcp joint; clears wind-heat, reduces swelling, and benefits eyes, ears, and throat.

SI-3 (Shu-Stream, Wood)

Located proximal to the head of the 5th m-c bone; benefits occiput, neck, and back; clears wind, heat, and malaria; calms spirit and treats epilepsy; regulates the Governing Vessel (Du Mai).

SI-4 (Yuan-Source)

Located between the base of the 5th m-c and the triquetral bone; clears heat and reduces swelling, clears damp-heat and treats jaundice.

SI-5 (Jing-River, Horary, Fire)

Located between the ulna and triquetral bone at the wrist; clears heat and reduces swelling, calms spirit.

SI-6 (Xi-Cleft)

Located at the styloid process of the ulna; moderates acute conditions, benefits shoulder, and benefits eyes.

SI-7 (Luo-Connecting)

Located $5\text{ cun}$ from SI-5; clears heat, releases ext, calms spirit, and benefits finger joints.

SI-8 (He-Sea, Earth, Sedation)

Located between the olecranon and medial epicondyle; clears heat and swelling, calms spirit. Note: Its He-Sea functions are replaced with LHS ST 39.

Located at the upper third of the line from the midpoint of the spine of the scapula to the angle of the scapula; moves qi, unbinds chest and costal region, and benefits breasts.

Expels wind, benefits shoulder and scapula; center of suprascapular fossa.

SI-13 Location

Superior to the medial end of the scapular spine.

$3\text{ cun}$ lateral to T1; expels wind and cold, benefits shoulder and scapula.

SI-15 Location

$2\text{ cun}$ lateral to C7; descends Lung qi.

SI-16 (Window of Heaven)

Located posterior to the SCM, level with the laryngeal prominence; benefits ears, throat, and voice, regulates qi, and calms spirit.

SI-17 Location

Located between the angle of the mandible and SCM (ant) C2; benefits throat and neck, disperses swelling, descends rebellious qi, and benefits ears.

SI-18 Location

In line with the outer canthus, below the zygomatic bone; eliminates wind and alleviates pain, clears heat and reduces swelling.

SI-19 Location

Between the middle of the tragus and the condyloid process of the mandible; benefits ears and calms the spirit.
