Dissociative disorders

A group of rare disorders characterized by a disruption in the normal integration of conscious, memory, identity, emotion, perception, body representation, motor control, and behavior.

Dissociative identity disorder (DID)

A rare disorder where a person exhibits two or more distinct and alternating identities, formerly known as multiple personality disorder.

Personality disorders

Disorders characterized by enduring experiences or behavior patterns that differ from cultural norms, are inflexible, stable over time, and cause distress or impairment.

Antisocial personality disorder

A personality disorder where a person, often male, exhibits a lack of conscience for wrongdoing, may be aggressive, ruthless, or a clever con artist, even towards friends and family.

Anorexia nervosa

An eating disorder where a person maintains a starvation diet despite being underweight, with an inaccurate self-perception, often accompanied by excessive exercise.

Bulimia nervosa

An eating disorder characterized by binge eating followed by weight loss behaviors like vomiting, laxative use, fasting, or excessive exercise.

Binge eating disorder

Episodes of significant binge eating followed by distress, disgust, or guilt.
