Natural numbers

Natural numbers

all counting numbers (ex. 1,2,3...). doesn't include 0

Whole numbers

all positive integers and 0 (ex. 0, 1, 2, 3..)

Integers

whole numbers and their opposites, negative and positive wholes (ex. -2, -1, 0, 1, 2..)

Rational numbers

any numbers that can be written in the form of a fraction

Irrational numbers

any number that cannot be written in fraction form. Q with a - on top = a set of irrational number

Real numbers

the union of the rational number set and the irrational number set (all numbers basically)
