Foam materials

A solid material with lots of tiny air pockets, characterized by being light, low density, rigid, and easy to shape.

Foamboard

A low density foam core (often polystyrene) sandwiched between card or paper sheets, commonly used in sheets for mounting posters and architectural models.

Styrofoam

Extruded polystyrene foam available in blocks used to create 3D models, prototypes, and large-scale lettering.

Impact resistance

A material's ability to withstand shock without damage, providing cushioning and protection for delicate items.
