Subjunctive Tenses

Present Subjunctive (Presente subjuntivo)

…que yo hable” = that I speak. Endings: swap vowel: -ar → -e, -ir/-er → -a. Example: hable, hables, hable, hablemos, habléis, hablen

Present Perfect Subjunctive (Pretérito perfecto subjuntivo)

…que yo haya hablado” = that I have spoken. Form: haya, hayas, haya, hayamos, hayáis, hayan + past participle.

Imperfect Subjunctive (Imperfecto subjuntivo)

…que yo hablara / hablase” = that I spoke. Form from 3rd person plural preterite: -ra, -ras, -ra, -ramos, -rais, -ran (or -se endings).

Pluperfect Subjunctive (Pluscuamperfecto subjuntivo)

…que yo hubiera/hubiese hablado” = that I had spoken. Form: hubiera/hubiese + past participle.
