pass on something

to choose not to take part in or attend something — e.g. "I had to pass on the Monday meeting — can someone fill me in?"

keep somebody in the loop

to regularly update someone so they are aware of what is happening — e.g. "Please keep me in the loop about any changes to the schedule."

suffice

to be enough for a particular purpose — e.g. "A brief summary will suffice. We don't need all the details."

be juggling

to be trying to manage several things or responsibilities at the same time — e.g. "She's juggling three projects and two clients this week."

bow out

to withdraw from a responsibility or activity, especially gracefully — e.g. "He decided to bow out of the project to focus on his health."

asynchronously

not happening at the same time — used when people work or communicate at different times rather than in real time — e.g. "The team works asynchronously across three different time zones."

sit something out

to choose not to take part in something — e.g. "I'll sit this meeting out since it doesn't involve my team."

keep something lean

to keep a process, team or plan simple and efficient without unnecessary extras — e.g. "They decided to keep the project lean and only include essential features."
