What is Cañao/Kanyaw?

An array of bossed gongs.

What is Gansa or Flat Gong?

A bamboo percussion instruments.

A large bossed gong.

What is Pangalay?

It's from Sulu Archipelago, imitative of the movement of the seabirds.

What is Man-Manok?

It's from Bagobos of Mindanao, a dance that dramatizes three roosters from the Bago Tribe who compete against one another to be able to get the attention of a hen.

What is Tinikling?

It is a tagalog folk dance and the dancers have to be alert always.

What is Fine Arts?

Are primarily for aesthetic enjoyment through the senses, especially visual and auditory

What is Visual Arts?

It is a form of art that uses only medium to represent the artist’s idea, emotion, and imagination.

What is Practical Arts?

These are intended for practical use or utility. It is the changing of raw materials for utilitarian purposes.

What is Industrial Arts?

It is the changing of raw materials into some significant product for human consumption or use.

What is Applied or Household Art?

Refers mostly to household arts.

What is Civic Arts?

It includes municipal or town planning, maintenance and beautification of plazas, parks, roads, bridges, and farms.

What is Commercial Art?

It involves business propaganda in the form of advertisements.

What is Computer Graphics?

Is a core technology in digital photography, film, video games, cellphone and computer display, and many specialized applications.

What is Typography?

It is the art of arranging letters and text in a way that makes the copy legible, clear, and visually appealing to the reader.

What is Abstract Art?

Uses visual language of shape, form, color and line to create a composition which may exist with a degree of independence from visual references in the world.

What is Nude Art?

It is form of visual art that focuses on the unclothed human figure, is an enduring tradition

What is the context of art?

It is a set of background information by recognizing context, we acknowledge art’s interaction with active forces in the society.
