Highlights the targets.
Has clear instructions.
Why are policies and procedures necessary?
It protects the business from prosecution.
Enables the business to operate successfully and smoothly.
Maintains equality amongst employees, as everyone has to follow them.
What is a KPI, and what do they do?
KPI - Key performance indicators.
They allows a business to track the progress of employees and/or the business and measure them against the business’s goals or competitors.
Why are KPI’s useful to a business?
They can compare to their competition.
Allows them to inform stakeholders of progress.
Identify problems early, so they can be fixed as fast as possible.
To highlight the areas of the business that are doing well.
