Army Values
The fundamental principles that guide the behavior and actions of soldiers, including Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honor, Integrity, and Personal Courage.
Warrior Ethos
A set of beliefs and tenets that emphasize commitment to the mission and comrades, including 'Mission First,' 'Never Accept Defeat,' 'Never Quit,' and 'Never Leave a Fallen Comrade.'
Loyalty (Army Value)
Bear true faith and allegiance to the U.S. Constitution, the Army, your unit, and other Soldiers.
Duty (Army Value)
Fulfill your obligations.
Respect (Army Value)
Treat people as they should be treated.
Selfless Service (Army Value)
Put the welfare of the Nation, the Army, and subordinates before your own.
Honor (Army Value)
Live up to all the Army Values.
Integrity (Army Value)
Do what's right legally and morally.
Personal Courage (Army Value)
Face fear, danger, or adversity (physical or moral).
Soldier's Creed
A declaration of the commitment and values of an American Soldier, emphasizing teamwork, mission priority, and readiness.
Commitment to Serve the Nation
The dedication and willingness of soldiers to sacrifice for the protection and service of their country.
