Titration
A technique used to determine the concentration of a substance by reacting it with a solution of known concentration.
Buret
Equipment used to accurately measure the volume of a liquid.
Erlenmeyer flask
A flask used for performing titrations. Its shape helps to prevent loss of solution during swirling.
Pipet
Used to accurately transfer a specific volume of liquid.
Phenolphthalein
A substance that changes color to indicate the endpoint of a titration.
Endpoint
The point in a titration where the reaction is complete, usually indicated by a color change.
Geijkte HCl-oplossing
A solution with a precisely known concentration.
H 315-319
Harmful if swallowed. Causes skin irritation.
P 280.1+3-305+351+338
Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection. IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of soap and water. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.
