Anatomical position
A standard position where the subject stands upright facing the observer, with the head level, eyes facing forward, feet flat on the surface and directed forward, and arms at the side with palms facing forward.
Head (Anatomical Position)
Maintained level with the eyes facing forward.
Feet (Anatomical Position)
Positioned flat on the surface and directed forward.
Arms (Anatomical Position)
Positioned on the side of the body.
Palms (Anatomical Position)
Facing forward.
