How can economic sustainability promote health and human development?
An economically sustainable country means all people can earn a decent income, as such allowing people to buy and afford necessary resources such as food and shelter. This allows more people to access for a decent standard of living, thereby promoto human development.
An economic sustainable country means that the government has the capacity to provide service and infrastructure such as for education and transport, allowing more people to be connected to jobs and markets. This increase the ability for people to lead productive and creative lives according to their needs and interests, thereby improving human development.

This means the economy is more secure, so money can continue to be provided for resources, such as health care that promote physical health and wellbeing.
Low and Middle income countries experience a low level of industries where they tend to rely on agriculture as their sole industry which is dependent on factor such as weather patterns and global markets that are unstable and prevent long term economic growth.
A development of newer and diverse industries is important for low and income countries ensure that interruptions to specific industires will not cause economic catastrophe within a country.
In high income countries, development and diversity of industires is important for economic sustainability because it helps diversify the economy and create new jobs, especially as many countries are undergoing a significant change and potential loss of jobs due to technological advancement. This ensures average incomes to be maintained and improved for the next generation.

Gender equality refers to women and girls must be able to access the same opportunities as men and boys in relation to education, employment, leadership and decision making.
Improving gender equality means that women can access the same opportunities as men such as education and voting in elections, gives opportunities to women to participate in the life of the community and more women feeling more a part of society in which they feel socially included, thereby improving human development.
